About Us

Our Mission

The mission of The Kaur Movement Foundation is to act as a stimulus to develop lasting positive change by actively challenging harmful belief systems and practices that act as the root cause of all forms of abuse within the South Asian community. Our goal is to empower victims to take control of their own lives and become survivors by breaking free of toxic cultural practices that seek to disempower vulnerable members of the South Asian community.

The Kaur Movement Foundation believes domestic violence and sexual assault can be prevented. Prevention programs focus on education, targeting youth, other service providers, and the public to rethink unconscious beliefs that permit the behaviour.

Our Foundation is committed to ending domestic violence and sexual assault through healing, education, and prevention. We are dedicated to supporting individuals who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault through advocacy, counselling, and empowerment. We strive to support the empowerment of each person’s knowledge of self and right to dignity.

The Kaur and Singh Movement advocates equality and justice in all our initiatives. Our commitment to diversity is woven into the very fabric of our organization. We support victims of all ethnicities, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Together, we are making strides towards a more inclusive society by supporting those in need and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.
